Hulk knows best… the mustache is king

The most important discussion you can have this Thanksgiving or e-mail you can send this Movember is to all the men in your life over 40 - simply ask them when was the last time they were screened for prostate cancer.

WHY?

1 in 6 men will get prostate cancer, typically there are no symptoms until its spread beyond the prostate.  Regular screening is vital as prostate cancer is 90% curable if detected and treated early.  Sadly 27,000 men will die from prostate cancer in the US this year alone, don’t let it be someone you know.

ONLY One Week Left… Do Your Part!

Team “Mo Money, Mo Cures” has raised over $2,500.00 for the fight against men’s cancers…. and much of it is because of you!

So far, for the month of Movember, over $21 Million has been raised globally during this campaign – and there’s still a week to go!

Which is why we are asking if you, or anyone you know, are willing to help in the fight against men’s cancer by spreading awareness about men’s health, and/or donating to our cause.

  • 1 in 6 men will be affected by prostate cancer. In fact, a man is 35% more likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer than a woman is to be diagnosed with breast cancer.
    • The older you are, the more likely you are to be diagnosed with prostate cancer. Although only 1 in 10,000 under age 40 will be diagnosed, the rate shoots up to 1 in 38 for ages 40 to 59, and 1 in 15 for ages 60 to 69. In fact, more than 65% of all prostate cancers are diagnosed in men over the age of 65.
  • Testicular cancer mainly occurs in men aged 18 to 35, but can occur any time after the age of 15.
    • The number of men diagnosed with testicular cancer has grown by approximately 60% over the past 35 years, but the reason for this is not known. The good news is testicular cancer is highly curable when found early and treated promptly.

We ask that you send this message to all the men in your life you know to be at risk, or deserves the knowledge it can provide.
